As a final step at the end of an antibody discovery campaign, the discovery team must identify the most promising therapeutic candidates from among the antibodies generated by their campaign. Collating assay data with sequence data while still maintaining sample lineage to ensure that final plates or tubes can be prepared for hand-off often takes the form of large and cumbersome spreadsheets, with information pulled, sometimes incorrectly, from multiple systems and sources.

 

The StackWave Affinity LIMS combines discovery campaign workflows with an assay data management system and sequence analysis tools to support the generation and filtering of screening plates for lead identification. Instead of compiling spreadsheets of data from disparate systems, Affinity's custom reporting tools allow scientists to assemble datasets within the application from their collected assay and sequence data. These datasets can then be used to filter down to the antibodies of interest before generating a final set of plates for hand-off to molecular biology and protein expression teams. Every generated set of plates is linked back to its source plates, and the system can be configured to generate automation scripts for different liquid handling platforms.
